Qualified Motor Vehicle Technician

We are looking for technicians. Are you a Master Technician? A Diagnostic Technician? An EV Technician? If so, we would love to hear from you!

As we continue to expand our Ford, Vauxhall, Citroën and Peugeot franchises in Melton Mowbray, we are seeking additional Vehicle Technicians

We have opportunities available for Master Technicians, Diagnostic Technicians, highly skilled Mechanical Technicians and Auto-Electrical Technicians.

We now represent four franchises at service level, with further expansion plans across two workshops/showrooms on a 3.5-acre site.

Main dealer experience is not essential, but a minimum of two years’ experience is required.

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm, with Saturday 8:30am – 12:30pm on a rota within the team (one-on, one-off).

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicles efficiently and to a high standard
• Carry out electronic Visual Health Checks (eVHC)
• Ensure all repairs are completed safely and in line with MOT and manufacturer guidelines
• Complete all relevant documentation accurately
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
• Continuously develop your technical knowledge through training and upskilling

What we’re looking for

• NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or an equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• An EV qualification is desirable (training can be provided if required).
• Previous experience in a Diagnostic or Master Technician role.
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
• A full UK driving licence.
• A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to help colleagues and customers alike.

Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum, plus up to £6,000 per annum bonus.
