Marketing Specialist

We are a dynamic, multi-franchise, family-run automotive business, specialising in new and used vehicles, with flexible finance solutions and all-makes servicing.

We are looking for a versatile, data-driven Marketing Specialist to take full ownership of our brand's presence locally, regionally and digitally.

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for planning, delivering and evaluating marketing activities that promote Aston Autopark, increase vehicle sales, generate aftersales enquiries and enhance the company's reputation across all digital and traditional marketing channels.

The role requires creativity, strong organisational skills and the ability to analyse marketing performance to maximise return on investment.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Marketing

  • Manage and update the company website.
  • Optimise website content for search engines (SEO).
  • Manage paid advertising campaigns including Google Ads and social media advertising.
  • Monitor website traffic and user behaviour using analytics tools.
  • Ensure all vehicle promotions are current and accurate.

Social Media

  • Create engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and other relevant platforms.
  • Develop monthly content calendars.
  • Respond to online enquiries where appropriate.
  • Grow audience engagement and brand awareness.
  • Produce photography and short-form video content.

Advertising & Campaigns

  • Plan and coordinate seasonal campaigns.
  • Promote new vehicles, used vehicles, aftersales, MOTs, servicing, parts, Motability and finance offers.
  • Work with manufacturer marketing programmes.
  • Measure campaign effectiveness and adjust accordingly.

Customer Experience

  • Support customer retention campaigns.
  • Promote customer reviews and online reputation.
  • Assist with NPS and customer satisfaction initiatives.
  • Produce customer email campaigns and newsletters.
  • Support showroom events and product launches.

Brand Management

  • Ensure all marketing complies with manufacturer brand standards.
  • Maintain a consistent company image.
  • Produce brochures, posters, signage and promotional material.

Reporting - produce regular reports covering:

  • Website performance
  • Lead generation
  • Social media engagement
  • Advertising ROI
  • Campaign effectiveness
  • Email marketing performance
  • Budget expenditure
Provide recommendations for continuous improvement.


Supplier Management

  • Liaise with external marketing agencies.
  • Manage relationships with printers, photographers and media suppliers.
  • Obtain quotations and monitor marketing budgets.

General Duties

  • Support all departments with marketing requirements.
  • Attend meetings and contribute ideas.
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR and advertising regulations.
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties requested by management.

Person Specification 

Essential

  • Previous experience in a marketing role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills.

  • Experience with social media management.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to analyse marketing data.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Desirable

  • Marketing qualification.
  • Experience within the motor industry.
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics.
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite or similar.
  • Experience with CRM and email marketing platforms.
