Qualified Motor Vehicle Technician at Aston Autopark

We are looking for technicians. Are you a Master Technician? A Diagnostic Technician? If so, we would love to hear from you.


Due to further expansion and representing Ford, Vauxhall, Citroen and Peugeot franchises in Melton Mowbray – Aston Autopark are actively seeking two Vehicle Technicians

We can accommodate at Master Technician, Diagnostic Technician, Highly Skilled Mechanical Technician or Auto Electrical Level.

Formerly Aston Vauxhall, we now represent four franchises at service level, with further expansion plans across two workshops/showrooms on a 3.5-acre site.

We consistently lead the tables in customer satisfaction and dealership performance at manufacturer level.

Main dealer experience is not essential, but a minimum of two years’ experience is required.

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm, with Saturday 8:30am – 12:30pm on a rota within the team (one on, one off).

Requirements

  • Diagnose and repair vehicles efficiently and to a high standard
  • Carry out electronic Visual Health Checks (eVHC)
  • Ensure all repairs are completed safely and in line with MOT and manufacturer guidelines
  • Complete all relevant documentation accurately
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
  • Continuously develop your technical knowledge through training and upskilling

What we’re looking for

  • NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or an equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
  • EV qualification desirable (training can be provided if required).
  • Previous experience in a Diagnostic or Master Technician role.
  • Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to help colleagues and customers alike.

Salary: £25,000 – £50,000 per annum, depending on skill level.
